In general when dogs reach the age of six for a large breed and seven for a smaller breed they start to become less active and as their metabolism slows down so they tend to gain weight.

As they grow older they become prone to a blunting of the senses and a general loss of body condition.

Senior dogs need all the help they can get from a well balanced diet which provides them with the correct amount of calories alongside all the other essential nutrients as well as being palatable and easy to digest.

Freshly Cooked Chicken, which is highly digestible and very tasty, is a source of protein and fats.

Low Ash chicken meat meal is added to provide a good combination of chicken flesh, skin and bone which provides essential nutrients and minerals such as calcium.
